How Does My Garden Grow?

The upside to being off work (albeit not by choice) during the Spring and Summer is my garden has been pampered quite a bit!

We've been eating the lettuce for many weeks now and my zucchini squash has tons of blossoms. I am hoping they all turn into little zucchinis!
I also planted broccoli-raab which I just learned is a member of the turnip family rather than broccoli. I've been harvesting a little here and there. I blanch it, then saute in some EVOO and garlic. I even put a bit of bacon in with it but it turned out too salty for my taste.

The tomatoes are looking good, probably the healthiest plants ("jetstar") I have ever had so I am hoping for a bountiful harvest. I put the grape tomato plant in a pot and it's not looking as good. I am trying to keep it going but the leaves are turning yellow and falling off. A few little blossoms, so hopefully it'll make it.
I check my raised beds every day for pests and weeds, although being raised beds they don't get many weeds. I am amazed at the size of the zucchini plants especially, and am grateful I gave them plenty of room. When they first sprouted I thought I'd thinned them out too much but am very happy I followed the instructions on the seed packet!

I also planted borage which is a mediterranean plant that is edible. It gets blue flowers which you can put in salads and it tastes like cucumber. You can also eat the leaves but they are quite fuzzy and the texture may be too weird for me. I stumbled upon the seed packet at Target and thought what the heck? $1.69 is not too much to spend on something unusual like that! Once they flower, I'll post some pics.
