Save The Date Cards

My nephew, Joel, is getting married in October. We received a "Save The Date" card in the mail today and I was really impressed with their creativity (probably Anna's idea!). They went to a photobooth...the kind where you get 4 photos on a strip. Each one has a shot of Joel and Anna and they are holding a big poster. The last picture shows them holding a poster that has Oct. 24, 2009 on it. They made copies of the photostrip and mounted it on a nice heavy cardstock. They also put little magnetic strips on the back so you can put it on the fridge as a reminder.

I thought it was the cutest idea. We've gotten Save The Date cards before, but this is pretty clever and putting magnets on the back insures it won't get lost or thrown away. I wish we would've had the foresight to do something like this for our class reunion Save The Date cards. We only did one mailing for this reunion due to the limited budget. It's so expensive to do a mailing to almost 700 people so doubtful we'll do another one.
